December - April - (Winter)

The winter season is the dry season in St Bart’s and one of the busiest seasons of the year. Vacationers flock to the island during the brutal winters up north and in Europe. St Bart’s offers sunshine-filled days with temperatures ranging from 85-90 degrees this time of year. The average daily temperatures in January are 82 with lows dropping to around 72 degrees. Mid-December to Mid-April is considered the “high season” and one of the most popular times of the year to travel to St Bart’s. Prices of accommodation and travel are extremely high and beaches, restaurants, and shops are crowded. If you are visiting during this time of year it is highly recommended to book way in advance to secure your flights and accommodations. Rates of hotels and vills during the week of Christmas almost double in price, and New Year’s and Spring Break are also busy and expensive times on the island.
